Armed with a degree in jewelry engineering from The Gemological Institute of America, coupled with expertise in welding technology and intricate diamond setting, Sasha is a master of her craft. From designing luxury tour buses for rockstars to creating bespoke jewelry pieces, Sasha weaves together form, beauty, function, and pleasure into the fabric of everyday objects. Embracing a rich tapestry of skills and knowledge, Sasha stands as a testament to the boundless possibilities when artistry and engineering converge in the hands of a true visionary. Her journey extends beyond borders, having undergone specialized training, along with the entire Morez Eyewear team, in bespoke eyewear production at the prestige’s eyewear school in Morez, France from which our company name pays tribute.

We are delighted to introduce Martha Humphreys, another artisan and visionary on our team whose journey of study took many roads. A seasoned metalsmith and jeweler, Martha brings a wealth of experience from her decade-long tenure in product development and brand management within the eyewear industry. Her passion for the manufacturing process, whether through meticulous handcrafting or industrial production, is unparalleled, and she possesses an insatiable curiosity for raw materials and tools.
 

Martha's extensive background encompasses the development and manufacturing of both optical and sunwear, having collaborated with several high-end brands in both the eyewear and jewelry sectors. In a remarkable chapter as Sasha, Martha underwent bespoke eyewear production at the prestigious eyewear school in Morez, France, adding a touch of French finesse to her repertoire.

Currently residing in the picturesque Hudson Valley with her husband, two boys, and faithful dog, Martha has established her own jewelry studio. We are thrilled to have her expertise and artistic flair as part of the Morez Eyewear team.

With over 30 years of experience, Jerry has earned a reputation for his unparalleled craftsmanship and innovation in producing unique, handmade eyewear, bicycles, and motorcycles. His journey has taken him across the globe, studying and training in the art of eyewear manufacturing from masters in Fukui Prefecture (Japan), Morez (France), Taiwan, and China.

A true pioneer, he thrives on creating new materials, material designs, and processes for eyewear, transforming each frame into a work of art. Known for his meticulous attention to detail, Jerry treats every frame as a special creation, overseeing every step of the design and production process to ensure that the end result meets his rigorous standards. A graduate of SUNY College of Optometry and The University of Hong Kong Business School, Dr. Rubinfeld's career has taken him across continents from decades of involvement in manufacturing across Asia, Europe, and the United States to thriving practices in Westchester County
 

Morez Eyewear, a project close to his heart, began its development upon his return to the United States in 2011 after a decade of living in Asia. Driven by a commitment to reinvigorate American innovation and manufacturing, Dr. Rubinfeld's passion extends beyond business into charitable endeavors. Actively involved in various charitable organizations, he channels his dedication to patients, team, and community.

Away from the hustle, Dr. Rubinfeld finds solace in his picturesque Hudson Valley home, where he enjoys quiet moments with his wife, daughter, and three beloved dogs. His life's journey reflects a commitment to paving the road less traveled, creating, giving back, and nurturing the spirit of American excellence.
